Google Wallet

Google Wallet is a mobile payment system developed by Google that allows its users to store credit cards, loyalty cards, and gift cards among other things.

Its a wallet you can lock

Google Wallet requires you to set up a Google Wallet PIN that must be entered before making a purchase. This PIN prevents any unauthorized access or payments.

A lock within a lock

For added protection, all Android phones feature a separate lock screen. This, plus your Google Wallet PIN, provides double the security.

Encryption is the key

Not only does Google Wallet encrypt payment information, it puts the data in a place only trusted programs have access — on a separate chip in Android phones called the Secure Element.

 

 

A wallet that reveals nothing

When you save payment cards in Google Wallet, the account numbers never appear on the phone screen. So your private data stays that way.
