Sony Xperia P is supposed to stand out of the crowd with its 4.0-inch qHD display manufactured using Sony's very own WhiteMagic technology, the device's screen is capable of delivering brightness superior to that of any other smartphone on the market today, according to Sony. Thanks to that, the screen's outdoor visibility should be outstanding, to say the least. Looking further down its specs sheet, we see a dual-core chipset providing the Sony Xperia P with processing power. Xperia Neo L

Xperia Neo L will be Sony's first ICS phone, but only for China

Sony announced the Xperia neo L MT25i for the Chinese market. Designed to be a successor to the neo and neo V, the specs certainly won’t wow you, as it looks to be intended for the budget market. Specs are said to include a 4-inch 854×480 display, a 1Ghz single-core Qualcomm MSM8255 processor, 512MB of RAM, and a five megapixel camera with 720p video recording.

You’ll also find a front facing VGA camera on the front of the device. 1GB of storage is onboard, although there’s a microSD card slot so you can expand that up to 32GB. The battery comes in at 1,500mAh, and the phone is 12.2mm thick.

The whole thing will be running Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich when it eventually does ship. Right now it seems that this handset is destined for the Chinese market, although it’s not outside the realms of possibility that we’ll see it elsewhere worldwide. No pricing or availability just yet.

Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo V

One of the newer devices that recently rolled out of the Sony Ericsson shed is the Xperia Neo V. Designed to offer high-end like features at a reasonable price, the Neo V could mean serious competition for the likes of Motorola, Spice, among others. Here’s a closer look at the latest handset in the Xperia Smartphone series.

Other than that, handling is super smooth and even a few slightly heavy games worked without a hitch.

The native music player that Sony Ericsson has customized for the Android UI is quite well balanced for overall audio performance.

With a 1GHz Scorpion processor powering Android’s Gingerbread OS (2.3.4), the Xperia Neo V functions quite well

Pros:

1. OS really fast with feather touch. It never hanged up.
2. Got 500 MB free 3G from sony ericsson - airtel tie up. Usually for 10kb they r costing around 10ps in India.
3. Phone set look is awesome.
4. Clarity is better than most of the smart mobiles in market, bcos of Bravia engine picture clarity enhancer.
5. Cost was 18.1K as on 16dec2011 with 10% for ICICI bank users.

Cons:

1. Battery backup is really bad.. it could not stand for 1day also.. daily charging the mobile twice..
2. Very low internal memory, we can not download more applications.
3. Ear phone which comes along with the set is not good. This time they have not provided the original ear phone.
4. It has 5 MP, where as in Neo(Which is not launched in India) has 8MP camera with same cost.

Sony Xperia S is a Candybar phone along with dimensions of 128 x 64 x 10.6 mm. The phone weighs only 144 grams and comes up with some touch sensitive controls to improve your touching experience.

Sony Xperia S has an awesome LCD Capacitive Touchscreen of 4.3 inches along with LED-Backlit. The display has a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels and density of ~342 ppi pixels. Apart from that, it has multi-touch capability which supports upto 10 fingers at a single time. Additionally, the screen is also protected by a scratch resistant glass and comes up with Timescape User Interference.

Sony Xperia S comes up with a primary camera of 12 megapixels (1080p@30fps) along with a resolution
of 4000 x 3000 pixels. Apart from that, it has LED Flash, Auto Focus, Geo Tagging, Touch Focus, Face Detection, Smile Detection, 3D Sweep Panorama & Image Stabilization. Apart from that, it also features a secondary camera of 1.3 megapixels (720p@30fps).

Sony Xperia S runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, but the company has already conveyed at CES that it will soon get an ICS upgrade. It is powered by a Qualcomm MSM8260 Snapdragon Dual Core Processor of 1.5 GHz. Apart from that, it is powered by a super fast RAM of 1 GB which will certainly increase the speed of the device along with the extremely fast dual core processor of 1.5 GHz. Additionally, the device has an in-built (internal memory) memory of 32 GB but doesn’t have any memory card slot.
