The Most powerful Electric motorcycle

Electrical technology in the automotive world continues to receive special attention from the motorcycle manufacturers. One is Voxan, a French automotive manufacturers, which will showcase the Voxan Wattman, an electric powered motorcycle at the Paris Motorcycle Show 2013.

Wattman motorcycle has cruiser style, which engineered by Voxan in Monaco and then built it in France. This electric motorcycle is powered with permanent magnets, so that the electric motor capable of spraying a pretty phenomenal power of 200 hp at 6,500 to 10,500 rpm with a torque of 200 Nm from 0 to 6,000 rpm.

So that makes the Wattman could accelerates 0-160 kph (100 mph) in 5.9 seconds and 0-100 kph (60 mph) in 3.4 seconds. While the maximum speed reached 170 kph. With the power stored in the 12.8 kwh of lithium-ion battery that could take it to roam up to 178 km. To charge the battery from state 0 until 80% only takes less than 30 minutes and is much faster than charging your handphone battery.

The electric motorcycle has a length of 2,350 mm, height 1,015 mm, width 815 mm and a wheelbase of 1,705 mm. Its weight is also not too heavy is 350 kg. All is smooth and perfectly integrated, from the lights to the digital dash, and from the chunky 240 mm Pirelli Commander II rear tire. The bike rools with four 230 mm front rotors squeezed by 4D Beringer calipers and a 230mm in the rear. Add in a 43 mm USD fork, dual swingarm with dual horizontal shocks to keep thins rolling smoothly on high speed.

Three Brands blending in One Café Racer motorcycle

A masterpiece of automotive modification that will bring a surprise, is the fruit of the creative ideas of remarkable modifier. Of course the idea can come from anywhere, such as combining parts that taken from several brands of motorcycles.

This was apparently done by Choppahead, a modifications house from Massachusetts, United States that presents their work that is named Tronsa. What do you think of upon hearing that name?

Tronsa name is nothing to do with one famous movie, Tron. If you think there, you are wrong. Tronsa name that given by Choppahead was an abbreviation of Triumph - Honda - BSA. Believe it or not, this bike is a blend of all of those three brands.

This modification work using the engine, transmission and braking system of the 1975 Triumph 'Bonneville T140 motorcycle, then Choppahead combine with the fork and swingarm owned by Honda. While the fuel tank and the frame, taken from the 1968 BSA which has kindly donated these parts.

Tronsa built by Choppahead with the style of modern café racer concept. The old Bonneville engine was completely rebuilt and Amal carbs have been fitted, together with a Boyer electronic ignition and a custom, hand-made underseat oil tank.

The Tronsa contains in fact a lot of other Choppahead custom parts beautifully integrated in this build, but they're just too many to be listed here. In other words, Choppahead just add accessories to give more viscous touch of café racer side, as the theme that wanting to be appointed by the American home modifications.

When the Classical Chevrolet combined with Harley-Davidson

An automotive work that will bring surprises, is the fruit of an extraordinary creative idea. Of course the idea can come from anywhere, such as combining parts of a car which was then combined with a motorcycle engine.

An extraordinary motorcycle made by Lupo Racing, a modifier from Toulouse France who has made many automotive modification masterpieces. This bike is a combination of the 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air with Harley-Davidson motorcycle and they called it as H-D Bel Air.

A harmonious blend between the classical 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air with Harley-Davidson Dyna Street Bob engine which has a length of 3.35 m (11 ft). This unique motorcycle intentionally created to pay homage to the Chevrolet Bel Air that was popular in 1950s.

As a modifier, Lupo spent about 3 thousand hours to make a combination motorcycle of Harley-Davidson engine and parts of Chevrolet car. The motorcycle has a touch of Chevy style that is famous throughout the world. Including its large tail section made of a combination of two replicas.

The newest Suzuki's MotoGP bike

As we all know that starting in 2015 Suzuki, one of the Japanese automotive manufacturers is ready to return to the Moto GP racing competition, after by the end of November 2011 they have been decided to step down from the most prestigious motorcycle racing event is.

As reported by Asphalt & Rubber, in the EICMA Show event which held on November 7-10, 2013 in Milan, Italy. The Japanese manufacturer officially has revealed the latest motorcycle prototype that they will use to participate in the 2015 Moto GP racing event. Suzuki XRH-1 is itself a prototype of the latest generation of Suzuki motorcycles in Moto GP racing scene as well as a replacement of the legendary GSX-R prototype. Then for the engine itself, Suzuki XRH-1 is using inline 4-cylinder configured engine with a capacity of 1,000 cc, and still using an ECU from Mitsubishi which also has a fuel tank capacity of 21 liters .

In connection with the regulatory change from the Moto GP authority that starting next year the participants are required to use the ECU from Magneti with a fuel tank capacity of 20 liters.

When it tested on Monday, 17 June 2013 in Barcelona Circuit with Randy de Puniet who became the new Suzuki motorcycle test rider. Although still in the development stage, Suzuki XRH-1 showed promising pace.
